Best Appettite Suppressant Food 2011

Appetite Suppressant Food sure comes in handy if your having a hard time losing weight because of that hungry feeling that just wont go away. I agree that it really does make it hard to stay focused on a diet if you ever get caught without some back up tricks or plans to get around that hungry feeling that keeps lingering and tempting you to nibble just a little on something that you know you shouldn't be nibbling on.

Well if you are in that situation right know, here is your chance to try out some appetite suppressant food that will not only knock out all of that temptation but also give you some more really lasting powerful benefits as well. It's always a wise decision to exhaust every natural option present before you give up or even worse start to consider surgery.

The first appetite suppressant food that you can try, to alleviate those worrisome hunger pains that usually cause you to cheat and even quit your diet is:

1. Apples

Many experts agree that apples were at the top of the list of appetite suppressant food. This is mainly because apples take longer to chew. And when you don't cut them up into little pieces it takes even longer. What does this have to do with suppressing your appetite right. Well it's quite simple; the brain usually takes about 20 minutes to process whether or not your full.

This is why you over eat and get that bloated feeling afterwards. So when you chew longer it gives the brain time to process that you are full. Needless to say that apples are also rich in fiber which means that you will feel full for a longer period of time, and they don't digest quickly. Notice that I said that apples were at the top of the list for suppressing your appetite?

Well don't forget that because I will get to telling you what the number one choice is in a few but for know please read on.

2. Green Tea

Green tea in particular is another good appetite suppressant food that is also known for its ability to help burn fat. This explains the popularity among people who wish to lose weight. Green tea can however also stimulate the release of hormones that can control or limit food cravings.

3. Chocolate

Not all chocolates are good appetite suppressant food. There are some kinds of chocolates that should definitely be avoided. There are also some brands and types of chocolates that carry a lot of calories and are sugar rich which makes them major weight contributors. However, very small portions of dark chocolate may be good for you. The bittersweet taste of pure dark chocolate has been known suppress many appetites.

4. Oatmeal

Oatmeal is an appetite suppressant to. This is why it should be in your breakfast menu more often. Oatmeal contains carbohydrates that slowly burn as it is used for energy, hence making you feel less like eating more. Oatmeal is also a fiber rich food that will make you feel fuller faster and last.

5. Flaxseeds

Flaxseeds are another rich in fiber food. Flaxseeds are best consumed when raw. If you want more flavors with your flaxseeds, you can mix them with your early morning bowl of oatmeal which can serve as a double appetite suppressant food.

6. Water

Drinking plenty of water throughout the day can keep you hydrated. It also limits your appetite especially if you drink a glass before a meal.

All the foods that were listed above will surely help to suppress your appetite. However it would also be wise to use a healthy diet and a good exercise plan to aid you in achieving your weight loss goals.

Good Natural herbal supplements are also safe to use in conjunction with a good healthy diet and exercise plan. One in particular can really give your weight loss and overall health a real boost.

This particular natural herbal supplement is a very popular and safe all natural fruit that not only helps to suppress your appetite because of the fiber found inside of it but it also burns fat and converts it to energy, and it keeps burning even after you have stopped exercising or even just doing something as simple as doing chores around the house.

It is all natural but it has 1 very known side effect that a dieter that is looking for a way to cut there food cravings down would really treasure, and that is it makes you feel full all the time. This is a good thing because even though you cut down on how much food you take in you wont miss the vitamins and minerals in the food that you dont consume, because it is packed with vitamins and minerals that keep you from craving for sugary stuff and helps you to want healthy stuff.

There's nothing wrong with eating Oatmeal as an appetite suppressant food because it's healthy in so many ways and it cuts your appettite as well because it fills you up.

As far as using Chocolate as a appetite suppressant food well it does have sugar but you shouldn't over indulge in it as like anything else healthy that you eat if you eat it with portion sizes that are too large then it will defeat the purpose.

It shouldn't take much to cut your appettite after all your just trying to cut your appettite not get full...

A friend recommended that I cut up some fresh ginger and simmer it for about 30 minutes and drink it for a cough. The side result was that it suppressed my appetite and apparently it boosts your metabolism.

My husband seredipitously discovered that eating two pieces of sugared/candied ginger (dried slices of ginger root sprinkled lightly with sugar) took away his appetite. We've both been doing it for a week now. Two slices twice a day, midday & before bedtime. I lost 1 pound & my husband lost 2. We're thrilled. As for the oatmeal comment above, oatmeal is glutinous, forming a gel-like texture between the grains. A bowl of oatmeal, especially made with boiling water rather than milk, even with a dab of butter & a TBS of brown sugar, can keep you full for hours, literally, as it takes a long time to pass through small intestines, which, when emptied, reignite appetite. Thus, anything, like psyllium, which also forms a gel & slows passage of food through small intestines, will reduce appetite. As an added health benefit, both oatmeal & psyllium attach to cholesterol, taking it out of the body with waste.
